The facility is NASA Regional Planetary Image Facility with an active archive of maps, and remotely sensed images from the Solar System

The Brown University: Planetary Data Center

The Data Center is a public facility designed to make available to all researchers, educators and the general public the vast amount of image data obtained by the U.S. Space Program from 1962 to the present. Nearby colleges, schools and research institutions are encouraged to use the center.

Arizona State University: NASA Regional Planteraty Image Facility

SPL houses images and maps from all major U.S. spacecraft missions, along with an extensive library of mission documentation, scientific journals, and Earth and planetary publications. Aerial photographs of the Earth, airborne radar, and cartographic products (all coverage flight dependent) are also part the facilty's collection.

Lunar and Planetary Institute

Planetary imagery is available in a variety of formats, including negatives, prints, positive transparencies, 35-millimeter slides, video, and digital disks. The collection also includes press release images, lunar sample images, slide sets, photo atlases, and globes.

JPL Regional Planetary Image Facility

Here at the JPL Image Facility, we have most of the JPL press-released images, all of the historic mission photos in a variety of formats, and the press-released images from current missions. Our collection also includes all of the U.S.G.S. planetary maps, as well as a complete set of PDS (Planetary Data System) CDs and DVDs.

National Air and Space Museum

The Center for Earth and Planetary Studies (CEPS) at the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution houses a NASA-supported Regional Planetary Image Facility. It houses over 300,000 photographs and images of the planets and their satellites. Cartographic products generated from these images are also available.

USGS Astrogeology program in Flagstaff

The Regional Planetary Image Facility (RPIF) at the USGS Astrogeology program in Flagstaff, Arizona is a planetary resource library as well as an archival repository for photographic and supplemental engineering data products. These products include digital datasets derived from all NASA spacecraft missions as well as Earth-based observational data.
