Visualization and Data Analysis 2008 (EI107) This conference covers all aspects of visualization and issues affecting successful visualizations. The conference has grown rapidly over the years and has attracted participants from throughout the world. Submissions are peer reviewed with an acceptance rate of ~50% making the quality of the conference and its publications extremely high. IEEE Symposium on Visual Analytics Science and Technology 2007 IEEE VAST, founded in 2006, is the first international symposium dedicated to advances in visual analytics science and technology. The scope of the symposium, co-located with the annual IEEE Visualization Conference and the IEEE InfoVis Conference, is based on the research agenda published in the book Illuminating the Path: The Research and Development Agenda for Visual Analytics, J. J. Thomas and K. A. Cook, editors, IEEE CS Press.
